For Andy's birthday this year he took the day off and we went to the zoo as a family for the first time. We were there when it opened and it was perfect. It wasn't busy and the animals were all .out getting fed. We had a blast. The only bummer is that my camera battery went dead after the first pic - even though I checked it the night before and it told me it had a full battery.
This tiger was beautiful. At first it was sitting in the back and then it came out to the front to stretch. It starting yawning and making all kinds of fun noises. Most of the animals did the same thing, hopefully next time our expectations won't be too high.
