Ellie turned 1 back in July and I'm finally getting around to posting about it. I borrowed my dad's video camera for the day a taped her doing fun stuff all day long. Unfortunately my dad's camera won't download to my Mac. So that stuff will come at a later date. To celebrate Ellie's birthday we had a party with Andy's family the Sunday before (sorry no pics), just our little family the day of, and then with my family the Sunday after. She had no clue what was really going on, but as long as we clapped and smiled she did too. Below are pics we took at my parent's house.

This is the cake my mom got for her. Every year while my Grandma Carol was alive she would get us a cake with flowers on it. My mom is going to do the same for her grandkids.

Here is a video... She didn't eat much, she didn't seem to like the cake.
